Northland Family Help Center (NFHC) took its current form in 1991, when Northland Crisis Nursery and the Women’s Resource Center merged into one organization. Now in its 31st year of operations, NFHC provides advocacy, prevention education, and shelter for victims of violence and abuse through five free programs: Women’s Shelter, Children’s Shelter, Legal Advocacy, Counseling, and Community Education. All programs are supported by a small administrative department.
