The operations of the Northland Family Help Center can be broken into two main categories, support for victims of family violence and sexual assault, and programs to prevent family violence from occurring. These prevention programs comprise NFHC's Community Education Program.

Community Education
Northland Family Help Center's Community Education Program offers educational programs and training workshops for community members and local youth. Our educational programs are a combination of guided discussions, interactive exercises and lectures facilitating understanding, prevention and awareness on a variety of topics.

Core Programs

  • Youth Outreach
  • The PEACE Project
  • RESPECT Groups
  • Character Education
  • Creating Healthy Relationships and Communication
  • ...and more

Presentations are structured around age and knowledge-level of audiences. All presentations generally last one to two hours or can be divided into multiple sessions.

Contact us at 774-4503 to learn more.

All services are provided at no cost. NFHC's Community Education Program is funded by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Governor's Office for the Prevention of Family Violence, and other local contributors. P.E.A.C.E. Project is a collaboration of NFHC and Theatrikos Theatre Company.
